Questions

Before you book

Do I pay when I book?

Headshots and portraits take a $50 deposit at booking, and it comes off your balance. Everything else is invoiced after we have confirmed the details, so nothing is due when you book an event, a content day or editing work.

What happens to my $50 deposit if I cancel?

More than seven business days before the shoot, it is refunded in full. Inside that, it is kept, because the date is usually too late for me to fill. Rescheduling rather than cancelling always carries it over.

What if I need to reschedule?

Use the link in your confirmation email, or just reply to it. More than forty-eight hours out, there is no charge either way.

How far do you travel?

Rockland County, the lower Hudson Valley and North Jersey are standard and travel is included within twenty-five miles of Pearl River. Beyond that there is a travel line on the quote.

When are you actually available?

Weekends, and weekday evenings from six. I have a full-time job, so weekdays between nine and five are not bookable. The calendar only ever shows times I can genuinely make.

I need a weekday daytime shoot. Office headshots, that sort of thing.

Book the office and team session. Those run during business hours and I arrange time off for them, so they need ten days of notice and I only take a couple a month. Plan ahead and the answer is usually yes.
